Kelsey Shelby
Studio Owner / Instructor
Ms. Kelsey began dancing at the age of three in Springfield, Illinois, where her love for dance quickly grew into a lifelong passion. She trained for over 15 years and competed for 13 of those years, studying a wide variety of styles including tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, contemporary, and musical theater.
At just 16, she earned her teaching certification through the Southern Association of Dance Masters, and by 18, she was awarded a scholarship to train in New York City at Steps on Broadway—an experience that further shaped her growth as both a dancer and instructor.
After moving to the St. Louis area, Ms. Kelsey followed her dream of sharing her passion with others. As both an owner and instructor, she is dedicated to creating a positive, welcoming environment where dancers feel supported, confident, and inspired.
Outside of the studio, Ms. Kelsey enjoys being a mom and understands the importance of building a strong, encouraging community for both dancers and their families. She believes dance is more than just movement—it's a way to express emotion, build confidence, and create lasting memories.
